My capitalism project
In this project I wanted to explore capitalism properly and expose things that go hidden. I designed three sketchbooks in this project: research, response and final piece. I have put some examples from all three books below both as the in person sketchbook and the pdf to show my understanding of using InDesign. I enjoyed this project as I was able to research different artists and theorists as well as present that information aesthetically to suit my style.

This is some pages from my first sketchbook showing my research into captialism and a statistics about the impact that is has.
Here are some of my different ideas for logos for the company that I created. It shows my process of how I chose the correct one and what was wrong with each logo.

These photographs show how my initial idea turned out to be incredibly different to the finished product. I was creating a flyer to tell people about "The Vision".

For my final project I decied that I wanted to create a second-hand website similar to Vinted and depop but with an added element. I am really passionate about second hand shopping which I talk about more in my fashion section. These four pages here are my research into Vinted and depop.

This was my design for my brainstorming to come up for the name of the second hand app. I eventually chose 'barter' because of its definition: "exchange (goods or services) for other goods or services without using money". This worked well because I wanted my app to have three means of "paying" for an item that you liked. 1 - Paying with money. 2 - Barter for an item (exchange an item on your page for an item of theirs.) 3 - Favour for an item. People would have lists of favours on their accounts which people could choose to do instead of pay, for example mow the lawn.
These are the pages of me choosing a font for the app because I wanted it to represent the company.

These are the development pages for some of my app. I decided to go for a similar layout to Vinted and depop but I wanted to add things to make it my own. For example, underneath each item is the option to buy, barter or favour it!

Here are some mockups for the app as well as some mockups below for other things that I made for this project.
